In Stars We Believe! And what a summer to look forward to! Full of culinary fireworks, imagination, out-of-this-world flavors and exquisite food presentations. Two award-winning chefs, one French, the other, Greek, with their mystique of Michelin stars, come together at Apanemi, our new venture, creating signature dishes and degustation menus for a season of high gastronomy and memorable dining at the Mykonos Theoxenia.

The union of these two celebrated creatives in our kitchen, with their long awarded careers, and valuable expertise and knowledge around all things ‘food,’ ushers in a season of exhilarating and intriguing flavors, incorporating the local agricultural bounty, diversity and authenticity of Greek products. Traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes are deconstructed and reconstructed along a new and compelling framework that infuses freshness, gusto and originality into established and well-loved recipes. An all-day, a la carte menu, curated by Greek origins, Yiannis Baxevanis, and his enthusiastic brigade, promises to satisfy the desires of all our customers, vegetarian or not, Greek or foreign. When it comes to food, raw, or slow-cooked, fresh and seasoned, traditional, or innovative, be prepared for a thrilling journey.

For evenings, 3 degustation menus reinvent favorite Greek dishes like lamb cutlets in green crust with apricots, anchovies and smoked eggplant, or sea bass stuffed with spirulina and summer zucchini flowers. A must…is our lobster with asparagus and hibiscus sauce.

Food preparation is as important as taste and all our dishes are exquisite creations that promise a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.

For evenings, be adventurous and try one of our 3 degustation menus that take the gourmet experience to surprising and sophisticated new heights.

We will ignite your hearts, nourish your soul and leave your taste buds tingling with sensations. Seasoned and experienced diners, looking to broaden their culinary appreciation, will love the crispy cockerel breasts with walnuts and marjoram, garnished with an ice cream of aromatic pan juices and mustard. Whereas food enthusiasts will be delighted by our symphony of blue crabs in a vinaigrette of citrus fruits, avocado and spicy sorbet of Florina peppers.
