The Glam History - Famous Friends of Theoxenia

Mykonos Theoxenia, Jackie’s Onassis favorite hotel on the island, was built in the early 60s. Today, it is still one of the jewels of the island, and this Louis Group hotel owes much if its glamour and fame to the fact that it always hosted Jackie and Aristotle Onassis with their colorful and often noisy entourage.

Theoxenia was designed by the famous Greek architect Aris Kostantinides and has recently been refurbished befitting the retro sixties theme by the also famous interior designer Angelos Angelopoulos. Moreover, Theoxenia is now a Louis Group hotel and a member of the trendy Design Hotels of the World group; it often attracts the new generation of jet-setters.
